FINBUDDY is a multilingual, AI-powered assistant built to help users better understand financial concepts, market data, and economic news — in real time. But it’s not just another chatbot. It’s a fully personalized experience:
- Tailored to your knowledge: A short quiz determines your financial literacy (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), and the chatbot adjusts tone, language, and depth accordingly.
- Powered by real data: It pulls information from reliable sources — financial news, educational glossaries, and official data — and cites them in every answer.
- Trained to teach: It explains key concepts (like inflation or P/E ratio) clearly, with real-world examples when needed.
- Safe and responsible: Built using trustworthy AI principles, FINBUDDY avoids hallucinations and incorrect answers by sticking to verified data.
How does it work?
FINBUDDY is based on a sophisticated architecture that integrates:
- Large linguistic models (LLM) such as GPT-4, Claude or Mistral, selected and compared during testing to ensure optimal performance.
- A RAG pipeline that combines vector databases (Pinecone) and structured databases (MySQL, BigQuery) to query heterogeneous information: definitions, news, financial data.
An orchestration framework (LangChain) that manages the conversational logic, routing between sources and the final generation of responses.
