AI IN MEDICAL: Datrix participates in SPIE Photonics West with three papers on deep learning and biophotonics

Datrix participates, with Matteo Bregonzio, CTO and Aapo Peräkorpi, Data Scientist, in the prestigious event SPIE Photonics West, in San Francisco. This appointment, which includes the BiOS Expo – the world’s largest biomedical optics and biophotonics exhibition – represents important recognition for the company’s technological and scientific excellence.

Datrix will present three papers exploring innovative deep learning-based applications in the biophotonic and medical fields. In detail, these studies present an innovative solution based on convolutional networks for image reconstruction in diffuse optical tomography; the optimization of CARS spectroscopy through deep learning; and the improvement of retinal images thanks to denoising techniques based on U-Net networks.

Matteo Bregonzio comments on Datrix’s participation in the event: “Participating in SPIE Photonics West is a unique opportunity for us to share our know-how with the global scientific community, gain visibility in the global market, and contribute to the progress of medical diagnostics with increasingly innovative and personalized solutions.”
